VEG-GAP results were presented at the 38th International Technical Meeting on Air Pollution Modelling and its Applications in October 2021 in Barcelona, Spain
The ITM
is one of most prominent international forums
for discussing the latest scientific developments and applications related to
air pollution modelling at scales ranging from local to global.
Veg Gap presentations showed the urban
vegetation effects on meteorology and air quality in the three cities of the project: Bologna, Madrid and
Milan, the impact of future vegetation
plans in Madrid and of the approach used to model biogenic volatile organic
compounds emissions using a detailed vegetation inventory.
