NBS and agriculture: Metropolitan City of Bologna workshop on new jobs and skills

"New skills for new jobs: NBS and agriculture" is the title of the workshop, organized by the Metropolitan City of Bologna as part of the Connecting Nature Enterprise platform, which takes place on Wednesday, March 9, at 3 pm, via Zoom (in English).

The workshop will discuss how urban and peri-urban agricultural enterprises can create new job opportunities and benefit from new skills. Experts and innovators will share their experiences, pointing to challenges and opportunities in the near future.

These are the speakers:

- Cristina Sossan will present the urban coalition NextAgri, developed in Milan, and the extraordinary experiences of MUFPP.

- Laura Gaioso Losada will tell the experience of HortaEcoruna in the animation of urban gardens for schools, kindergartens and others in the city of La Coruña (Spain).

- Manuela De Meo will describe the theatrical farm Sementerie Artistiche (Crevalcore), where seeds and community grow.

- Francesca Ferrero will introduce new training opportunities developed within the Erasmus+ SESAME project for students and policy makers.

The work will be coordinated by Valeria Stacchini and Marino Cavallo from the Metropolitan City of Bologna.
