"Let’s put down roots for the
future", the great plan on the green in order to make of the
Emilia-Romagna the "green corridor" of Italy, proposes a new call
turned to the enterprises.
The regional Committee has approved of a
contest in support of the participations of forestation that is turned to all
the types of enterprises (excluding agricultural ones and exclusively in the territories
of the lowland municipalities included in the "agglomeration of Bologna,
east plain and west plain" areas of the PAIR Plan), with a funding of 500
thousand euros for the biennium 2022-23. The project offers the possibility of
having more trees and wooded areas also in the land owned or in the
availability of private companies, thanks to these new contributions. The call
provides, for companies that will engage in making available land and to build
permanent forest plantations, the grant of a co-financing of 60% of the costs
incurred.
A call for forestry dedicated to companies is a
novelty, and is a further action of the path to increase the green area of
Emilia-Romagna. It is added to the 2021 and 2022 calls addressed to the
municipalities of the lowland areas for forestation in urban and peri-urban
areas.
The projects for which the application for
co-financing will be submitted must have an investment (eligible expenditure)
not less than 10 thousand euros and not more than 150 thousand. The grants
granted will therefore vary from a minimum of 6 thousand to a maximum of 90
thousand euros. In the case of projects with an investment size of more than
150 thousand euros, co-financing may not exceed the maximum amount of 90
thousand euros.
There is time until September 30 to submit
proposals.
