VEG-GAP participates in the mid-term conference of the PrepAIR project in Milan
ENEA representing the European VEG-GAP project will attend the event

Thursday 11 July in Milan the mid-term event of the European project PrepAIR is held. The conference will be the occasion to confront on strategies and future perspective concerning the quality of air in the critical context of the Po valley territory, starting from the results achieved so far by the LIFE PrepAIR project.

The Po Valley of northern Italy represents an important non attaining zone for PM, NO2 and O3. This zone covers the territory of Italian northern Regions and includes several urban agglomerates such as Milan, Turin and Bologna.

PrepAIR (Po Regions Engaged to Policies of AIR) aims at implementing the measures foreseen in the regional plans and in the Po Valley agreement at a larger scale so to strengthen the sustainability and durability of results: the geographical coverage of the IP is the Po Valley with the regions and cities that mainly influence air quality in the basin.

The event will also be attended by ENEA representing the European VEG-GAP project. It will be a way of presenting the project and networking as foreseen by the LIFE program to increase the potential of its projects.
